Puyallup School District is a school district that supports the City of Puyallup, Washington and surrounding area. Organized in 1854, The Puyallup School District was the third school district formed in the state of Washington. It is the 8th largest school district in Washington. The District has twenty-three elementary schools, seven junior high schools, three senior high schools and an alternative school, together which serve over 22,000 students. The district employs more than 1,250 certificated, 1,400 classified staff, and 850 substitute personnel.
