Puthalath Dinesan (Malayalam: പുത്തലത്ത് ദിനേശൻ) (born 31 December 1969) is an Indian politician from Kerala. He is Communist Party of India (Marxist) Kerala State committee Member. He is currently Chief minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan's Political Secretary

Early life and education

Dinesan was born in Memunda, Vatakara as youngest son of TH Kunjiraman Nambair And Deviamma. He graduated from Memunda HSS, Vatakara, did his PG at the University of Calicut Campus, and completed his LLB at Law academy, Thiruvananthapuram.

Political career

Puthalath Dinesan entered politics through the Students' Federation of India. He went on to become the state president of the Students' Federation for two years in 2000 and 2001 at a state conference held at Alappuzha and Thiruvalla. He later became all-India Vice President of the Students' Federation. He also was General Secretary of Calicut University Union. He became a Communist Party of India (Marxist) State Committee member in 2015. He became political secretary to the Chief Minister of Kerala when Pinarayi Vijayan assumed office in 2016.

Personal life

He is married to Yamuna Keeneri, a doctor by profession, and has two children. Rosa And Azad.
