Punnala Sreekumar is the Face of the Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha (KPMS), Kerala's largest Dalit organisation.
He has been elected again as the General Secretary 0f the organisation during the 46 th State Conference at Thrissur in August 2017. He dramatically changed the attitude and the structure of the organisation to become a pressure group in Kerala Politics.Sri P.K Rajan and Baiju Kalasala the assistant Secretaries of the organisation.Ayyankali Cultural Trust ( ACT ) under the control of KPMS is running an Arts and Science college at punalur with the name Ayyankali Memorial Arts and Science college (AKMAS ). .[1]
