History
Pulumamidi name is come from most famous verities of Mngoes & Thamarind .
Social and Political Life
The main political parties are the Congress Party and the Telangana Rastra Samathi Party. With new scheme of our former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this village got a good road connecting Vikarabad and Shankarpalli-road. This helps the villagers to transport vegetable etc.
There is a Hanuman temple in the village where every year Sri Rama Navami is celebrated. In addition to this Bonalu which is a unique festival in Telangana, Vinayaka Chaviti are also celebrated with huge participation of villagers.
Recently the school has been upgraded and now children of villagers can study up to the 10th standard in their own village itself. There are many successful people belonging to this village who are in North America, Russia, Europe, South Africa settled in different professions.
