Pu Zhongjie (Chinese: 蒲忠杰; born January 16, 1963) is a Chinese businessman. He founded Lepu Group Co Ltd in 1998 and now serves as the chairman of the Board and General Manager of Lepu Group Co Ltd. According to Hurun Report's China Rich List 2013, he has an estimated personal fortune of $370 million USD, and was the 849th richest person in China. Career
Lepu Medical Technology (Beijing) Co Ltd was jointly funded by WP Medical Technologies Inc and Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute in 1999. Dr. Pu Zhongjie holds the positions of President, General Manager and Technical Director and the actual controller of the company. He is also the executive director of Beijing Target Medical Technologies Co Ltd, Lepu Medical Technology (Beijing) Co Ltd and Shanghai Shape Memory Alloy Material Co Ltd.
Pu Zhongjie is the director of the Chinese Society of Biotechnology (CSBT), vice president of the Interventional Engineering Committee of CSBT and the member of the Changping CPPCC committee.
Lepu Medical was listed on China's Growth Enterprise Market on Oct 31, 2009. The worth of Pu's holdings has reached 3.8 billion because of the soaring of its stock price, making him the richest man in the Growth Enterprise Market.
