Contents

Book One

The series' debut, Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye, introduces the title character as a professional intuitive who finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation after one of her recent clients is murdered. As the plot unfolds, the local police department shows skepticism, suspicion, and curiosity as to how she knows so much about a crime for which she is clearly not responsible. Under constant scrutiny, Abby struggles with the realization that she may know too much for her own good - especially once she realizes that her own life is in jeopardy. "Abby Cooper: Psychic Eye" notably marks the beginning of the heroine's romantic involvement with Dutch Rivers, whom she meets through a dating service, and who also happens to be the lead investigator on the case. Complications arise as he questions her abilities, forcing her to defend herself against being called a fraud.

Book Two

In Better Read Than Dead, Abby faces off with the mob. A good friend and fellow psychic calls in a favor, asking her to assist him as entertainment at a wedding, during which he has arranged to read tarot cards for the guests. After one of the members of the wedding party confirms during his reading that he is a hit man, it doesn't take Abby long to understand that this is no ordinary "family" wedding. The two refuse to finish the evening and her friend leaves town the next day - leaving Abby to make amends with the wedding party. Although they don't accept her apologies or a substantial refund, the head of the family is intrigued by her abilities and attempts to use her for his own benefit. The more he persuades her, the more stubbornly she refuses...and he makes every effort to prevent her from running to the authorities, even if it means destroying her. Complicating the situation further is the local police department, who she is assisting in an ongoing murder investigation...not to mention a growing relationship between Abby and Dutch.

Book Three

A Vision Of Murder, Abby has invested in a fixer-upper, hoping to make a killing in the real estate market. But a killing of another kind puts her plans awry, as the ghost of a murdered woman and some troublesome poltergeists lead her into a mystery that goes all the way back to World War II.

Book Four

Killer Insight, a childhood friend of Abby's from Denver, Colorado, finds herself short one bridesmaid, it doesn't take a professional psychic to see the opportunity for a much-needed getaway. But one bridesmaid after the next is mysteriously flying the coop, and Abby's intuition tells her their final destination isn't pretty. With the wedding party falling apart and her gift of sight never quite so foggy, Abby has to save the date-and herself from becoming the next taffeta-clad target.

Book Five

Crime Seen, Abby is recovering from a recent gunshot wound. Getting back on her feet, she agrees to looking in a few cases that her boyfriend, Dutch Rivers, suggests she look through. She accidentally looks through a closed file, but senses something is very wrong. She feels the person in prison is not guilty, and decides to try to find the real killer herself.

Book Six

Death Perception, Abby's boyfriend's cousin goes missing, along with the man he was supposed to be bodyguarding. Abby and Dutch go out to Las Vegas to look for him. Dutch also comes down with a strange illness and Abby keeps predicting his death.
