Psi¹ Piscium (Psi¹ Psc, ψ¹ Piscium, ψ¹ Psc) is binary star in constellation of Pisces, with an apparent magnitude of +5.33. The primary component is a white A-type main sequence. It is approximately 238 light years from Earth.

Psi¹ Piscium is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 22.5 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 22,800 and 24,300 light years from the center of the Galaxy.

Naming

In Chinese, 奎宿 (Kuí Sù), meaning Legs (asterism), refers to an asterism consisting of refers to an asterism consisting of ψ¹ Piscium, η Andromedae, 65 Piscium, ζ Andromedae, ε Andromedae, δ Andromedae, π Andromedae, ν Andromedae, μ Andromedae, β Andromedae, τ Piscium, 91 Piscium, υ Piscium, φ Piscium and χ Piscium. Consequently, ψ¹ Piscium itself is known as 奎宿十六 (Kuí Sù shíliù, English: the Sixteenth Star of Legs.)
