ProgressSoft is a software development company for imaging technology and real-time payments solutions. ProgressSoft was founded in 1989 and is based in Jordan.
Contents
In 2001, the company developed a system to electronically process cheques for Qatar's central bank. This was the first system designed by a Jordanian company which requires no human intervention to process cheque clearing between banks on a nationwide level.
The application is currently running in Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Nepal, Oman, Kuwait and Seychelles.
