On May 22, 2013, Lil Dicky self-released his debut mixtape titled So Hard. He later used Kickstarter with the goal of raising $70,000 to release his debut album with accompanying music videos and tours. On November 20, 2013 the projected month-long crowdfunding period reached the fundraising goal within a week. The fundraising was dramatically successful, raising a total of $113,017.
Singles
"Lemme Freak" was released as the first single from the album on September 17, 2014. The track was produced by Jim Cummings. As of January 2017, the music video has received over 34 million views.
"White Crime" was released as the second single from the album on December 10, 2014. The track was produced by Roger Goodman. As of January 2017, the music video has received over 12 million views.
"Save Dat Money" was released as the third single from the album on June 10, 2015. The song features vocals from rappers Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan.
