Marriage and issue

In 2000, Hubertus wed Uta Maria König (born on February 25, 1964, in Trier). Their civil ceremony took place on July 10, 2000, in Grünwald, followed by a religious ceremony on September 23, 2000, in Palma de Majorca, Spain. The couple has two children.
