Lanham was influenced to write the book because after she lost the son she wanted so much, she wanted to help other women to cope with the pain. She felt she should do it because of her journaling skills.

About The Author

Carol Lanham now lives in Dallas, Texas with her two sons, Andrew and Michael, now 16 and 14. Along with working for the Associated Press, Newsweek, Reuters, and Vatican Radio in Italy she received her PhD at the University of Texas at Dallas, planning on specializing in public health research. She happily lives with her husband, Sean.
