Pramatha Nath Ray is an Indian politician and was the Minister of State for Development & Planning in the Government of West Bengal. He is a MLA, elected from the Kaliaganj constituency in the West Bengal state assembly election, 2011.

He resigned from the ministry when Congress withdrew its support to the Mamata Banerjee government in September 2012.

Pramatha Nath Ray, son of Rabindra Nath Ray, was born in 1943. He is a post graduate in humanities.
