Powell Cove (66°15′S 110°32′E) is a cove in the western side of Clark Peninsula, between Whitney and Stonehocker Points. First mapped from air photographs taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump (1946–47) and included in a 1957 ground survey by C.R. Eklund. Named by the latter for James T. Powell, U.S. Navy, chief aerographer at Wilkes Station, 1957.
