Plumlov (German: Blumenau, also Plumau) is a town in the Olomouc Region, Czech Republic.

Map of 798 03 Plumlov, Czechia

Plumlov is the site of a castle which was personally designed by Prince Karl Eusebius of Liechtenstein, an avid devotee to the art of building. Known then as Plumenau Castle, it was intended as a jewel of Baroque architecture. The castle was confiscated from its owners in 1931. It is now in the possession of the local government in Plumlov, which is attempting to restore the building to its original voluptuous forms of the Bohemian baroque, but this work has met with acute financial shortcomings.
