In 2016, Plentific became the first home services marketplace to launch an insurance-backed guarantee, the Plentific Guarantee, which covers the whole of any Plentific project, including the deposit, post completion and legal fees. History

Plentific was founded in November 2013 by ex-investment bankers and property developers Cem Savas and Emre Kazan. Headquartered in London, the real estate online portal received $1.6m in seed funding in 2014, and in 2015 it entered into a partnership with LendInvest to help generate future funding. In May 2015, Plentific signed an agreement with the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) to help regulate compliant scaffolding contractors. In August 2015, Plentific partnered with Zoopla Property Group and Primelocation. In 2016, Plentific received £2m in funding from the Property Innovation Labs (Pi Labs) and partnered with the HomeOwners Alliance as well as the Planning Portal.
