Pleasant View Christian School maintains a school newspaper, the Voice of the Warrior. The newspaper began as a division of the InDesign and Writing Class in early November 2005 when the yearbook staff were separated. With 2006, a switch from the classic "Voice of the Warrior" design to a new design based on The Guardian newspaper came about. The newspaper's new name is "thewarrior", the Warrior. Recently, further changes have occurred with the switch from a traditional newspaper into a bi-weekly news magazine. The December 2006 issue was the longest ever at 24 pages. The first full-color issue was circulated in January 2007. Color and grayscale issues circulate alternately.

Currently no newspaper is being written due to lack of resources.
