Athletics
The school is part of the Eastern Midlands Conference. Plattsmouth's athletics program offers baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, softball, track, volleyball, and wrestling. The boys cross country team won state championships in 1973, 1974, and 1975; the girls cross country team, in 1993, 1994, and 2000. The boys track team won state championships in 1976 and 2008. The wrestling team won a state championship in 1990, and a dual state championship in 2016. The football team won the district title in 2009, 2010.
