Reception
Substream Magazine awarded it a score of 5 out of 5 stars, saying " is a must-have for fans of Star Wars and collectors alike." Flickering Myth awarded it a score of four of four stars, saying "But the film is essentially a love letter to Star Wars toys – and a very enjoyable love letter at that." Influx Magazine said "while the documentary Plastic Galaxy may appeal to a very small audience, it is fairly easy to get pulled into the tractor beam of tales spun by its subjects." Media Mikes called it "a fun film from start to finish that can be watched by the whole family."
