CYBONET, formerly PineApp, is a privately held IT security company that provides email security, email archiving and web filtering (content control software) for organizations and enterprises. In 2015, under new leadership, CYBONET announced the newest release of its flagship Mail Secure mail relay. The new Mail Secure version 5.1, builds on CYBONET's trademark email security solution and delivers several key new enhancements aimed at improving the end user and administrator experience. Mail SeCure 5.1 also seamlessly incorporates CYBONET’s newest solution offerings as easy to deploy modules within Mail Secure including Email Encryption, Email Archiving, Large File Transfer and Email Branding.

In 2011 CYBONET released the Outbound Spam Guard (OSG). The CYBONET OSG is a transparent SMTP proxy that effectively neutralizes outbound spam from botnets.

In 2009, CYBONET was positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the September 2008 "Magic Quadrant for E-Mail Security Boundaries" report in the “Niche Players” Quadrant.
