Pine Island Airport (IATA: DUF) is a privately owned airport, located in the town of Corolla, North Carolina, owned by Turnpike Properties LLC. As of May 31, 2012, the FAA indicates that the airport is operational, however, aerial photographs from January, 2008 indicated that the airport's only runway has been closed The airport is only served by private aircraft.
