Pine Island Airport (IATA: DUF) is a privately owned airport, located in the town of Corolla, North Carolina, owned by Turnpike Properties LLC. The airport is referred locally by the 7NC2 code and IATA code DUF. The airport has one 3,450 ft. runway, designated runway 17/35. As of May 31, 2012, the FAA indicates that the airport is operational, however, aerial photographs from January, 2008 indicated that the airport's only runway has been closed The airport is only served by private aircraft.
