École Universelle Pierre et Marie Curie (Escuela Universal Pierre y Marie Curie) (EUPMC) is a private trilingual school located in Las Colinas Managua, Nicaragua. It is best known for its large multicultural student body and its science orientation.

Contents

Founded in 1997 in Las Colinas, Managua, Nicaragua, EUPMC started as a pioneer school,"Lo Pequeño Es Bello", the first in the country to introduce a programming language in the curriculum of pre-school children. It is now one of the top private schools in Managua, Nicaragua. It's also the only school in Central America with an observatory.

Installations

EUPMC is also known for having state-of-the-art facilities. EUPMC has: two fully equipped computer labs, musical division, fully equipped biology lab, fully equipped chemistry lab, In Memoriam of Ruben Dario "Salon Azul" Cafeteria and theatre, administrative offices, counseling, mathematics development department, athletics department (soccer, basketball, tennis/volleyball), swimming pool and a recently inaugurated observatory.

Student life

EUPMC is known for its multicultural student body, having local students from Nicaragua as well as students from all over the world. All classes are taught in English and both Spanish and French are taught in the school as well. ESL and French tutoring is available upon request.

EUPMC alumni have been admitted to universities all over the world such as UC Berkeley, Berklee College of Music, Architectural Association School of London, Ryerson University, Escuela Agrícola Panamericana Zamorano, IFC Méditerrannée, Birzeit University and others.
