The Piala Sumbangsih, also known as Piala Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (English: Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup) is the Malaysian super cup competition.

It is the curtain raiser match to the new Malaysian football season, pitting the reigning Liga Super champions against the previous year’s winners of the Piala Malaysia. The match the cup contested upon also known as Perlawanan Sumbangsih (English: Charity Match).
The fixture is ranked below the Piala FA and Piala Malaysia in terms of importance.
The current holders are Kedah after defeating Johor Darul Ta'zim in 2017 Piala Sumbangsih with the score 1–1, 5-4 on penalties.
History
The Piala Sumbangsih was first held in 1985 which was contested between Selangor and Pahang where Selangor became the first winner with the score of 2-1. The cup format has changed when during early days it was contested by the previous year winners of FA Cup against the Piala Malaysia winners and only recent years it has changed to be contested between the last year league winners against the Piala Malaysia winners.
The cup which is Piala Sumbangsih match act as the curtain raiser match to the new Malaysian football season, pitting the reigning Liga Super champions against the previous year’s winners of the Piala Malaysia where in 2016 edition it also double as the first match of the league season where the match point was awarded.
The 2017 season edition was held between the Liga Super winners, Johor Darul Ta'zim against the Piala Malaysia winners, Kedah which ultimately won by kedah with a score of 1-1, 5-4 on penalties.

Merdeka Stadium was the original venues for the match before moving to Bukit Jalil Stadium. In the recent years, the match has been held in the home venue of the previous years Liga Super winners.
