Early career

PiP's career started performing at his local pub on weekends before moving on to Comedy Clubs and working in the corporate entertainment industry. He was then picked up to work on P&O and Princess Cruises. In 2006 he was one of only 18 teens chosen worldwide to compete at the World Magic Seminar. In 2007 he was requested to come back and do a second performance during the APEC conference.

2009

PiP produced his first public shows at the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival with two shows, Hypnolarious & The Funny Side of Prestidigitation. He would perform both of these nightly during the entire 4-week festival with a total of 46 shows.

Later that year he created The Magic Club, a fortnightly show billed as "like a comedy club but with magicians instead". Shows would feature young up and coming performers competing for cash prizes followed by a set from a Professional Magician. The first season was a sell out success prompting the show to be moved to Sydney's iconic venue The Basement for most of the second season before finishing at The Laugh Garage.

2010 – 2011

PiP continued to tour his shows Hypnolarious and The Funny Side of Prestidigitation around Australia to critical acclaim.

2012

PiP's biggest career break came in 2012 when he became a contestant on Australia's Got Talent where he reached the Semi Finals. The judges loved his mixture of comedy and illusions with Danni Minogue saying "We have never had anything like that on the show before... and it was great" and Kyle Sandilands wanting to know where to get one of the dolls that turn into a girl.

During his semi-final appearance on AGT one of the judges commented about a mistake made. When asked about this on qooh.me PiP said "There were a lot of tech issues during my performance that were beyond my control sadly. Before I go into them I will give you a bit of background on the whole thing. For my second appearance on the show I had been asked to do an escape and so I created and built the entire illusion from scratch ... The biggest issue overall was a lack of prep time for the illusion. I was locked in to appear on the 8th semi final but then received a call to tell me I had to have it ready in 2 weeks to appear on the first semi final. We had only just finished building everything when they came to pick it all up to take to set so the weeks I had planned to run the routine and get it perfect didn't happen. During the filming a problem happened during the card trick which left me having to ad lib a little plus a few other things a long the way ... I have never really been happy with it and wish I could have had the time to get the routine better but it still was a lot of fun to do. I also think had it have been better I would have had the chance to do a routine I had been working on for years that would have been complete unique and like nothing you will ever see on the show (so big it needed permission from the government to do)."

Personal life

In 2010 PiP took control of his health and in 12 weeks lost 30 kg.

Charitable Activities

PiP has given up much of his time to be a part of many events and fundraisers for countless charity’s and not-for-profit organisations including cancer research, emergency fund reliefs and he is an Ambassador for Barnardos Australia and Books In Homes.

As an Ambassador for Barnardo's Australia, PiP appears at events they hold as well as putting on shows where the profits go to Barnardo's. His connection with the organisation was strengthened after having worked with the organisation for over a year he learnt that his grandfather had once been looked after by them.

As an Ambassador for Books in Homes, PiP makes appearances at Primary Schools in disadvantaged areas, talking to the children as well as performing magic and presenting them with their books. He helps to encourage their love for reading and continuing further education.

PiP also has a fundraising program that he has brought over from Canada where it has been extremely successful. He offers this program to schools, community groups and not for profit organisations. The program takes these groups step by step thru putting on a successful fundraising event. PiP launched this program mid 2013.
