Phoebe Wall Howard, prior to running an agency, worked for the largest public relations firm in the country. Howard spent 12 years working in newspapers, magazines, TV and radio. She is an Associated Press award winner.

As a political editor and columnist for The McClatchy Company, she oversaw election coverage out of Washington, D.C. and Central California and coordinated polls and televised political debates.

She launched the local public affairs talk show format on Valley Public Radio stations. She is a guest host on KMJ 580, the top-rated radio station in the region.

Before moving to the West Coast, Howard covered presidential campaigns, labor union negotiations and corporate fraud for The Des Moines Register. The state Supreme Court cited her foster care coverage when it overhauled state policy.

Howard began her career at The Arkansas Gazette covering then-Gov. Bill Clinton, death row and natural disasters. While in Arkansas and Iowa, she also worked for People magazine. Howard earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
