  • On 000000001972-09-26-0000September 26, 1972 he was appointed Ambassador to Washington, D.C., where he was accredited from 000000001972-10-02-0000October 2, 1972 til 000000001978-06-18-0000June 18, 1978 and concurrently commissioned as High Commissioner (Commonwealth) to Ottawa, Canada.
