Philip coggan paper promises debt money and the new world order
Philip Coggan is a British columnist and author of books on economics. He currently writes for The Economist. Previously, he worked for the Financial Times for 20 years. He was educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.

In 2008, Coggan was named Senior Financial Journalist of the Year by the Wincott Foundation and in 2009 he was voted Best Communicator at the Business Journalist of the Year Awards. The CFA Society of the UK named him Journalist of the Year in 2016.
Among his books are The Money Machine: How the City Works (1986 and 2009), The Economist Guide to Hedge Funds (2005), Paper Promises: Money, Debt and the New World Order (2011), named Spears' Business Book of the Year, and The Last Vote: the Threats to Western Democracy (2013).
