Philadelphia CyberKnife is a cancer treatment company located in Havertown, a suburb of Philadelphia. The facility is part of Delaware County Memorial Hospital but is not based on the hospital’s campus, which is located in Drexel Hill, Penn. Dr. Luther W. Brady

Medical Director Dr. Luther Brady is recognized as one of the world's foremost experts on radiation oncology. He has published more than 600 papers and has led numerous clinical trials. He built the majority of his career in Philadelphia.

Dr. Brady has won over thirty medals for his contribution to the medical field and has served as president of every major radiation oncology professional society. Dr. Brady is an alumnus of George Washington University. In 2001, the university dedicated the gallery as “The Luther W. Brady Art Gallery. Brady is currently a professor of clinical and radiation oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. John Lamond

Associate Medical Director Dr. John Lamond also has been awarded research grants and won an American Cancer Society award in 1995. Dr. Lamond is an active member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group and continues to perform clinical research. He is a clinical assistant professor at Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lamond along with other doctors at Philadelphia CyberKnife including Dr. Stephen Arrigo, Dr. Rachelle Lanciano, Dr. Craig Landow, and Dr. Richard Buonocore were honored in the 2011 Main Line Today Magazine's "Top Doctors" list.

Dr. Rachelle Lanciano

Dr. Rachelle M. Lanciano, is the Chief of the Radiation Oncology Department at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Lanciano is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Her areas of interest include lung cancer, prostate and bladder cancer, gynecologic malignancies, lymphoma and breast cancer. She has been a member of the treatment team at Philadelphia CyberKnife since 2006.

Jun Yang, Ph.D

Jun Yang is the chief medical physicist at Philadelphia CyberKnife and a member of the Radiosurgery Society Physics Committee. Yang won "Best Presentation" in the physics clinical research category at the Radiosurgery Society's 2012 SRS/SBRT annual meeting.

Clinical research

Doctors at Philadelphia CyberKnife have conducted several clinical research studies focusing on CyberKnife treatment for different types of cancer, including participating in national cooperative group clinical trails. In January 2012, the Philadelphia CyberKnife doctors' paper, "Stereotactic body radiation therapy for patients with heavily pretreated liver metastases and liver tumors" was published in the Frontiers in Radiation Oncology journal.

Recent studies in medical journals include, "Early Experience with CyberKnife Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy for Prostate Cancer," and "Experience Using CyberKnife Radiosurgery for Ocular Tumors."
