The Pharr–Reynosa International Bridge serves an important port on entry for the U.S.-Mexico border. The bridge handles commercial vehicles as well as passenger-operated vehicles. The Pharr-Reynosa International bridge connects U.S. Route 281 in Pharr, Texas, to the city of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, via Texas State Highway Spur 600. With a 5 km (3 mi) length, it is the largest bridge connecting two countries in the world. The bridge crosses the Rio Grande.
