History

In 2005, Peugeot created the Jet Force Compressor, the first scooter with a compressor. But this suffered from some defects, so Peugeot stopped its production and added a compressor on the Peugeot Satelis, a new scooter, which production also started in 2005.

Most critics were positive, although the first models had a reliability issue, which was later corrected.

Versions

This scooter was produced in two models, K15 for 15 hp, and K20 for 20 hp. This is due to the French law which allows people owning a B driving license (for cars) to drive motorbikes and scooters up to 125 cc and 15 hp. So the first model can be driven by an ordinary B car license, while the second needs a specific A motorbike license.

The compressor allows to get more power, equivalent to a 250 cc motorbike.

Each model was available in 3 options: Premium (4499 €), City (with padlock) (4659 €), and Executive (with padlock + ABS) 5099 €. A special model was also produced in small numbers from 2007: the Peugeot Blacksat 125 Compressor (4599 € and 5199 € for the Executive version).

Critics and legacy

Most critics were positive, and praise the extra power provided by the compressor. The negative points mentioned were the smaller space under the seat (for one helmet instead of two), the remaining being taken by the compressor, and an issue with the lateral crutch, which was later corrected.
