Biography

Ruocco was born in the Buffalo, New York area and spent his childhood years in the Town of Tonawanda. He attended St. Edmund's Elementary School in Tonawanda, and went on to high school at Cardinal O'Hara High School.

The majority of his acting work has been on the stage, but he has recently been featured in two major productions. In 2006, Ruocco appeared as the wedding planner in the movie You, Me, and Dupree. Soon afterwards, he appeared as Agent Freedman in an episode of Lost.

While at the University of Hawaii, Ruocco also starred in a one-man show called "Thom Pain" written by Will Eno about a recluse trying to piece together the shattered remnants of his life. For his Thesis in MFA directing, he hosted a production of the controversial play "In The Heart Of America" by Naomi Wallace, which coincidentally and appropriately opened on the anniversary of the brutal My Lai Massacre of the Vietnam War. Also, while in Hawaii, Ruocco played famous trade unionist Jack Hall in a PBS documentary.

Ruocco then moved to, and currently resides in, San Francisco, California. As of January 2008, he is working on a show called "Monsters in the Dark," which is written by Doug Dorst

Filmography

Ruocco has appeared in a few independent films as well as some television and film work.
