Peter Ross Salerno, CMKBD (also Peter Salerno), is a North American custom designer and cabinet maker. He is primarily known for his kitchen and bath designs, which (according to his website) are informed by both his international travels and family heritage.

His work has appeared in multiple interior design publications focused on kitchen and bath design. He is an HGTV Featured Kitchen and Bath Designers, and has received several United States national design awards, including the 2014 Best Small Kitchen and 2012 Best Large Kitchen awards from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).

Early life and career inception

Peter Ross Salerno is a first-generation American citizen, the son of Sicilian immigrant and custom cabinet maker Ross Salerno. As a child, he spent his weekend and vacation time in his father's workshop, exposing him to custom manufacturing at an early age.

After graduating from The Citadel with a degree in Business, he became an Ensign in the U.S. Navy and traveled to portions of Europe and Western Asia. . Upon his return to the United States, Peter returned to work for his father's custom cabinetry business.

Peter Salerno, Inc.

After his father's retirement, Peter Ross Salerno continued to work in the custom home design industry. He opened his own business in 1997 under the name Peter Salerno Inc. Since that date,it has operated in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

In 2012, their offices in Wyckoff, New Jersey, underwent a total renovation process. The resulting building tripled their showroom's size. Bergen.com described the expanded layout as having "innovative and cutting-edge vignettes". 7.
