Peter Gallina (born in London) is an English fashion and advertising photographer, celebrity portraitist and visual artist based in London, but working internationally.

Life and work

His photography was first used commercially to launch the D fashion magazine distributed by the Italian newspaper la Repubblica in the late 1990s. Since then his work has been used or commissioned for clients ranging from MTV to Cosmopolitan.

He has held many photographic exhibitions of his work, one of the largest of which was in Tokyo in the Spring of 2006. This exhibition, entitled "Love Tokyo. Seen Unseen", went on display at the “Gallery 21” in the Meridien Grand Pacific Hotel in the Odaiba area of Tokyo. The forty photographs were all printed by hand, with some as big as three meters by two meters, literally making it one of the largest photographic exhibitions Tokyo had seen.

Gallina is a member of the British Press Photographers Association.
