Peter Carr (born 1968) is a British author, big game hunter, columnist/editor, former gamekeeper and sporting agent turned journalist specializing in hunting, conservation, and military history/conflict.

After a short gamekeeping career in the employ of Sir Lawrence Barratt (Lawrie Barratt) and the Earl of Airlie, Carr operated as an International hunting outfitter before turning to freelance journalism. He has been published in hunting, fishing, firearm and military magazines.
Carr has been the subject of much controversy for his forthright views and overt support of legally sanctioned big game hunting and sustainable use of endangered species. In 2009 he was involved in elephant reduction operations in Hwange National Park Zimbabwe.
He is an active hunter conservationist and achieved recognition for his anti rhino poaching efforts in 2013.
Biography
Carr has worked on and alongside the international security circuit in Africa on anti-poaching operations. He has also operated in an infiltration/fixer capacity for News International and other agencies. He has earned his living with the rifle, camera and latterly the pen for the past twenty-five years, writing and compiling 7 books and numerous articles for mainstream publications and television.
