Early life

Pete Finch was born and raised in the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He attended Central High School, where he played football, baseball and tennis, also serving as class president. Finch gained an academic scholarship to The University of Connecticut in the honors program. He played one year of football for the Huskies as a red-shirt walk-on. At the beginning of his junior year he created a talk show called Live! with Pete Finchon the UConn campus TV Network. He graduated in 2004 from the UConn School of Business with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Career

Finch began interviewing rap celebrities after his first full year with his TV show during the summer between his junior and senior year of college. His first interview was with Philly rapper Cassidy at J Records in Manhattan. After that Finch interviewed the likes of Wyclef Jean, Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, Nas, Fabolous, and T-Pain. After graduation he moved to New York City and began producing content with friends at MTV. In 2005, Finch signed a distribution deal with Phoenix Entertainment from Los Angeles which compiled the best of Finch's celebrity interviews onto DVDs placed in stores from FYE and Target to Best Buy. Youtube killed sales of the DVD market, so Finch had to work a variety of jobs ranging from a real estate agent with Citi Habitats, bartending special events with US Concepts Beverage Company, promoting parties, junior publicist for Amy Brownstein and doorman at the Soho House NY.

Finch started rapping in 2010 at the time he released his documentary "My Hustle," finding brief recognition for his satirical "My Celebrity" music video appearing as a guest of the Lisa Evers Show on Hot 97 New York. During that period he compiled three promotional mixtapes called My Hustle the Mixtape, Brand Name America, and Deliver Us: The Book of E-Life.

In the summer of 2013, before starting law school, Finch released The Blackout Mixtape.

He is currently set to release "17 Again" Mixtape in the Spring 2016.

Education

Finch is currently a student at Quinnipiac University School of Law Class of 2016.
