Peter F. "Pete" Brungardt is a former Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 24th District from 2001 to 2013. His previous political experiences include the Salina City Planning Commission (1986–1991), Salina City Commission (1991–1999), and Mayor of Salina (1993–1994, 1998–1999).
