PerfectWave Technologies, LLC, was a technology contractor based in Poway, California, notable for its development of signal processing technologies for government and defence sectors. Namely, the company sold its sound isolation technology. Perfectwave was connected to a lobbying scandal with republican congressmen Tom DeLay, John Doolittle and Devin Nunes. [1]. PerfectWave was owned by Poway businessman Brent R. Wilkes, while Max Gelwix was co-founder and CEO.[2]

Technology
Perfectwave had completed and delivered a variation of its base algorithm in a chip set to eliminate background noise in the helmets of the crews of the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) and the Abrams main battle tank. In addition substantial progress had been made on an application which allowed ground penetrating radar to locate and identify improvised explosive devices (IED).

PerfectWave was implicated in connection to former House Majority Leader R. Tom DeLay because of a $15000 donation made to Texans for a Republican Majority. [3] [4]
