Pentalog is a digital platform that uses its various entities to provide IT services in many different domains, including IT recruitment, digital consulting, website development, finance, and more. Pentalog maintains a human resources pool of 300,000 IT professionals, 150,000 of which have already been skill tested. The company uses these resources to provide clients with IT solutions. All services offered by Pentalog are delivered using Agile methodology.

Pentalog Software Factory

The Pentalog Software Factory is the main hub of Pentalog's IT services. This entity provides many IT services such as web development, mobile application development, cloud computing, and more. It is here that projects can be designed, built, and run, all by Pentalog's professional talent pool.

SkillValue

SkillValue is Pentalog’s entity that maintains the foundation of human resources for the company. It is a talent pool that consists of 300,000 IT professionals from around the world, 200,000 of which have already been skill tested. These professionals are located all over the world and can be recruited for projects quickly and easily.

SkillValue uses Test01coder, an online testing platform that allows programmers to assess themselves by taking tests focused on different skills such as PHP, Java, .Net, CSS, and others. This self-assessment allows HR managers to save time recruiting as they can look for pre-assessed candidates with the appropriate skills.

Pentalog Institute

Pentalog Institute, the consulting entity of Pentalog, focuses on helping clients with technology architecture, digital marketing, technical debt management, security, performance analysis, and funding. The Pentalog Institute often works with agile transformations and performs technology due diligence, especially in relation to mergers and acquisitions.

Yourshore

Yourshore allows a company to purchase its own offshore team in Vietnam or Romania using the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) method. First Yourshore builds a team by drawing on their human resources pool and choosing the professionals that best fit the needs of the project. The team will then operate the project for 12-36 months depending on demands. Finally the client company will have the option to purchase the team in a simple and transparent process.

Pentalabbs

Pentalabbs is the financial entity of Pentalog which offers services that especially target start-ups. It uses a technology for equity program which is an exchange of the technological and human resources of the Pentalog platform for shares in a client company. Pentalabbs can build technical teams, offer consulting services, quickly ramp up a project, and plug a client company into its network of over 250 other start-ups.

Pentalabbs was founded in 2010 and has made 17 investments in 16 companies, most recently investing in a French company called TheFamily, an accelerator for early-stage startups.

Pentalog Outsourcing in Romania

IT outsourcing in Romania has been growing in popularity over the past decade. Currently, Bucharest is ranked as the 41st best outsourcing destination in the world. As an outsourcing hub Romania has a privileged location. It is in relatively close proximity to big firms in Western Europe with only a 1 hour time difference from Berlin and is only three hours by flight away from London. Romanians have a high aptitude for speaking European languages and can integrate easily into a Western European business culture.

IT recruitment has been increasing in Romania in spite of the recent economic crisis, and it has been recognized as one of the best IT outsourcing locations in regards to the ratio of service quality to price. Recognizing this data, Pentalog has based many of its services in Romania, setting up offices in Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj, and Iasi. Pentalog’s interest in Romania, combined with the interests of other companies, has led to the creation of 10,000 well-paid jobs in Iasi.
