Paul Blakemore is a British American Associate Professor of Chemistry at Oregon State University. As an organic chemist, he specializes in stereochemical syntheses. Early life

Blakemore was born in Essex, United Kingdom, in 1972. He attended Romford Grammar School and Southampton University, where he gained a Bachelor of Science degree followed by a PhD in synthesis of amino acids. He has lived in Oregon since 1999 but remains a British citizen.
