He currently presents "Smooth Nightshift" Monday to Friday from 01:00 to 04:00.

Biography

His broadcasting career has seen him host shows at many stations around the United Kingdom over the last decade. These include Capital Radio in London, 96.4 BRMB in Birmingham, Key 103 in Manchester, Galaxy North East in Newcastle and The Heart Network. In addition, in 1999, he was chosen to become the guest host of the internationally syndicated radio programme The World Chart Show, where he recorded an edition from Los Angeles.

As well as his radio work, Hollins is also an accomplished voice-over artist, and is the current voice for PC World's online activity. He has been heard on advertising campaigns for companies as diverse as Cadbury, Sony, TrafficMaster and Universal Music. He also narrated a 1994 documentary about the band Take That entitled "Take That - From Zeros to Heroes".

Hollins is also CEO of the award-winning radio content and syndication company Blue Revolution which has offices in Clerkenwell, London.

Rumours have suggested he was the favourite to replace Timothy Dalton as James Bond before a last-minute switch to Pierce Brosnan, who stepped in following creative differences about the franchise's direction.

He is also author of non-fiction works, Hang The DJ and Twibel.

He can be heard as the voice of Lakeland Radio.

Paul joined Smooth Radio to present a number of shows from July 2010.
