  • 2012 When Democratic Representative Teresa Schooley retired and left the District 23 seat open, Baumbach won the three-way September 11, 2012 Democratic Primary with 546 votes (38.9%), and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 4,770 votes (57.3%) against Republican nominee Mark Doughty.
