Patrick Falterman II (born March 16, 1990) is an American itinerant, travel writer, and canoeist. He is most well known for his writings about hitchhiking and canoeing in Central and South America, and is the creator and writer on "HitchTheWorld.com", where he writes long accounts of his numerous travels.

Amazon
In 2012 Falterman began canoeing in the Amazon Basin, and traveled for a time by a handmade log raft. He paddled more than 4,000 km in a locally-acquired wooden canoe up twenty Amazonian rivers over the course of two years.
