The daughter of film actor Ratheesh and Diana, Parvathy made her debut as the lead heroine opposite Kunchacko Boban in director Sugeeth's hit movie titled Madhura Naranga (2015).

Early and personal life
Parvathy was born to actor Ratheesh and Diana. She has a younger brother Padmaraj Ratheesh, younger sister Padma and one more younger brother Pranav. After her Plus Two when she told her mother that she wanted to act, her mother set a condition—that she complete her education and get qualified for a job. An MBA, she was working in Bengaluru when she quit her job to return to Thiruvananthapuram to help Padmaraj look after their ailing mother.She was at close family friend Suresh Kumar’s (producer) place when producer Anto Joseph met her. That chance meeting eventually landed her a role in the film.
