Park the Van began as a New Orleans, Louisiana-based independent record label, it was established with a Dr. Dog release in 2004 by Christopher Watson. After the events of Hurricane Katrina they moved their office to Schwenksville, PA until returning to New Orleans in 2008. Chris Watson left Park The Van Records in 2012 and it is currently maintained by co-founder Zach Fischel, Jeff Olson and Corey Watson in Santa Monica, CA. In late 2010 Park The Van began to represent independent musicians as managers, and are now known as Park The Van Records & Management.
