Early career
Park received a bachelor's degree in geography from Kyung Hee University. She is a member of the National Assembly and was the elected floor leader of New Politics Alliance for Democracy between May and October 2014.
Career
Park was a MBC TV reporter before becoming a politician in 2004. In 2014, she was elected the first female floor leader of a major opposition party in Korea.
Park crafted "The Specific Criminal Profits Forfeiture Bill" which is so-called "Lee Hak-soo bill" on February 16, 2015. She said that she had promoted the bill to confiscate illegal profits in an effort to realize "social justice."
