The company was founded in January 2014 by Daniel Lipinski and Carlos Vilhena and operates out of the TechHub Shoreditch building in East London's Tech City.

In 2016 ParcelBright was acquired by a competitor Veeqo, making it the largest parcel delivery platform in the UK, the founders are now expert advisors for the new venture.

ParcelBright raised $1 million in a late seed funding round from Forward Partners, Talis Capital, Avonmore Developments and Howzat Partners in December 2014.

ParcelBright had eight full-time staff.

Products

ParcelBright offered two main products.

The first was their main service, which they referred to as “ParcelBright.com”. This service allowed customers to book parcel deliveries with a range of leading courier companies through ParcelBright’s simple interface.

ParcelBright also offered an API to developers, allowing them to include the option to book parcel deliveries from within their own apps, using ParcelBright’s services.

History

One of ParcelBright's early successes was acquiring hundreds of new customers during the administration of established courier CityLink.
