Parannur Ibrahim Musliyar (Arabic: بارنور ابراهيم مسليار Malayalam: പാറന്നൂർ ഇബ്രാഹീം മുസ്ലിയാർ), the former treasurer of Samastha Kerala Jamiyathul ulama, was famous as orator, writer, organizer and religious cleric. With his piety and unprecedented commitment drew colossal admirers to the main stream of Islamic affairs as well as with decade long service in various Islamic institutions he yielded considerable numbers of very accepted scholars. He served as the main organizer of many leading Islamic seminaries and was daily bread for many of his beneficiaries.

Personal life

He was born to the religious background as the fourth son of Aboobacker and Ummatha, residing at Parannur, Narikkuni. After the primary religious education under the supervision of father, he was enrolled in local school and fetched good command in Arabic- Malayalam from Ahmed of Cherussala. For the higher education in religious field, he was admitted Mangad Darse (Islamic seminary) under Imbichal Kuttikattur Musliyar and spend eight years there and then went to Malayamma Darse for one year. For the post-graduation in the respective field, he admitted in Vellore Baqiyath Swalihath, Tamil Nadu and successfully completed the Al Fadil Baqavi course in short period.

In the service field

After post-graduation from Baqiyath Swalihath, he was appointed as the chief mentor in Darse based on Kadavoor and Karathammal, the locality nearby his home town. He occupied the principle chair in Jamiya Saadiya Arabia, the reputed Arabic institution at Kasaragod, state of Kerala, as well as Koduavalli Riyadu Swalihin and Kuttikuttoor Yamaniya Arabic College. He spent two years as chief mentor in both Chalayath and Kavannoor and six years in Vellore based Darse. He was installed in the throne of Qazi, chief Islamic jurist, of forty Mahells, vicinities. For his unique and praise worthy services, he was honored with Best scholar award sponsored by Riyad Kozhikode District federation.

In Samastha

He was dedicated his whole life for the service of Samastha Kerala Jamiyathul Ulama, the cleric organization based in southern Kerala. In the early 1981s, he was subsumed in central consulting body of the organization and was hailed to treasurer post in 1992. He rendered his service as the executive member of Vidyabayas Board, the largest religious educational agent in Indian subcontinent under the mother organization. He chaired the committee of CM Makham Madavoor and Majmau Narikkuni.

Death

He died after the long battle with age-related illness on November 17, 2013 at Parannur.
