The Paradelta Ben Hur is an Italian single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by Paradelta Parma of Parma. It is now out of production.

Design and development

The Ben Hur was designed as an advanced and competition glider. The models are each named for their relative size.

Variants

Ben Hur T5° dm
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 12.0 m (39.4 ft) span wing has a wing area of 24.2 m2 (260 sq ft) and 195 cells. The pilot weight range is 75 to 100 kg (165 to 220 lb).
Ben Hur T5° dg
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.8 m (42.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 28.1 m2 (302 sq ft) and 98 cells. The pilot weight range is 85 to 110 kg (187 to 243 lb).
Ben Hur T5° de
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 14.3 m (46.9 ft) span wing has a wing area of 34.5 m2 (371 sq ft) and 98 cells. The pilot weight range is 80 to 135 kg (176 to 298 lb).
