Mr. Tiramani’s work is diverse; he holds 45 US (USPTO) and 15 European (EPO) patents covering a diverse mix of inventions and intellectual property, including hardware, housewares, juvenile, sporting goods, medical, personal care, construction and automotive.

Corporations that license from 500 Group have had success, including Stanley Black & Decker. 500 Group identified a large untapped market, then developed and patented the required intellectual property, which resulted in the creation of the Rolling Workshop systems. This resulted in incremental business to Stanley Black & Decker of over $400m with sales still growing annually and creating a new market category valued in excess of $2Bn.

Current Projects

In September 2017, 500 Group announced the sale of its intellectual property to its former licensee Stanley Israel, a Stanley Black & Decker company, in an all-cash eight-figure deal.

The sale of a portion of 500 Group's intellectual property in 2008 allowed Mr. Tiramani to re-structure the company to focus on investment of assets and the development of new IP in two key technologies. Under Mr. Tiramani’s continued stewardship the company is innovating in the large scale construction and automotive sectors.

Directly operated 500 Group projects include BOXABL, an innovation in building construction technology; and Supercar System, an award-winning modular automotive system for the powersports market. Both projects will use proprietary 500 Group technology and are backed by a worldwide supply chain and team of industry experts.

American Dream Technology (now known as BOXABL) was showcased in Governor Rick Snyder's 2014/15 Michigan Prospectus and is featured as the Michigan SBDC Spotlight Project.
