Panono is the name of a 360° X 360° full-spherical, 108 megapixel Panoramic ball camera.

A user can throw it in the air and at its highest point 36 cameras in the ball will shoot an airborne panoramic photo. Panono was able to collect 1,25 Million US$ through crowdfunding at indiegogo and over 1,6 Million € through crowdinvesting at companisto.
Application
The ball-shaped camera has 36 camera lenses in total. When taking a photo all lenses trigger simultaneously. In order to get the 360 photo afterwards users need to download the unprocessed image files onto their mobile device or tablet after downloading the Panono app. The image processing takes then place in a cloud server which is provided by Panono. All camera settings as well as storing of 360 images is part of the app service.[1]

Media outlets from all over the world are using the camera. "Best for photographers. If any photo is worth 1,000 words, Panono must be worth 10,000" comments the Wall Street Journal as well as "The ball camera with an all-round view" according to the German WirtschaftsWoche.
