Pankaj Tiwari born March 27, 1974) is an American board-certified plastic surgeon. He currently works at Midwest Breast & Aesthetic Surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio. He specializes in breast reconstruction with advanced microsurgical techniques such as DIEP and GAP flaps.

Early life and education
Pankaj Tiwari was born in Kitwe, Zambia. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from Harvard University. He obtained his medical degree in 2000 at the New York University School of Medicine. In 2006, Tiwari finished his plastic surgery residency at the Division of Plastic Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his fellowship in reconstructive micro-vascular surgery in 2007 at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas in Houston, Texas. He speaks English, Hindi, and Spanish.
Career
From 2000 to 2006, Tiwari was a clinical instructor and house staff at the Division of Plastic Surgery in Baylor College of Medicine. He also served as a clinical specialist while completing his fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas from 2006-2007. He joined the Ohio State University's Department of Plastic Surgery in 2007 as assistant professor and attending surgeon, holding both positions until 2014.
He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and two medical book chapters in Gynecologic Oncology, Clinical Practice and Surgical Atlas (2014) and In Te Linde's Operative Gynecology (2014). Since 2013, Tiwari has been the associate editor of the BMC Cancer Journal.
In 2014, he co-founded with Dr. Ergun Kocak Midwest Breast and Aesthetic Surgery in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, where he is currently working as a plastic and microvascular surgeon.

Philanthropy
Tiwari is also involved in philanthropic work. In 2010, he participated in a reconstructive surgery mission in Punjab, India. In the following year, he conducted another one in Kullu, India.
